The Team

In addition to the main team, the business also engages the services of a large number of high quality and knowledgeable Tour Guides  and Heritage experts throughout the UK to ensure the delivery of the most informative experiences possible at all times.

Bill Morran FCCA
Managing Director

Bill acquired the business in early 2010 having occupied Managing Director and Finance Director Roles in a number of medium sized businesses over the last 20 years. Bill brings with him a wealth of experience in the running of a growing business as well as huge enthusiasm and fresh investment capability to see the business significantly grow and develop from its already solid and respected base. Bill’s vision for the future is very clear:

Lindum Heritage has established a deserved excellent reputation for smaller group, personally focused cultural, historical, archaeological and educational experiences. With the fresh investment from BTM Heritage Events Limited the business is now in an ideal position to further significantly grow and extend its offering whilst, at all times, remaining true to its clear desire to promote and deliver high quality heritage related activities throughout the UK and further afield. We will continue with our ethos of providing a unique and personally focused experience for each attendee at our events

Michael Purvis BA (Hons)
Tour Manager

Mick has been regular tour manager since Lindum Heritage was conceived six years ago. Prior to joining Lindum Heritage he worked for a blue chip company for twenty years, covering many aspects of business management, such as customer service, sales and marketing. In 2004 he decided to make a life changing decision and take a degree in Heritage Studies and make a career out of his passion for history.  Mick brings a highly personable and friendly approach to all events and also huge enthusiasm and a wealth of knowledge as well.

Ian Kidger CHARTERED FCIPD
