Working in small groups, against the fantastic backdrop of Lincoln Cathedral, our tutor will take you through the essentials of heritage photography. With clear examples, she will explain:

The secrets of composing beautiful pictures
How to get the best out of any subject
The technical side clearly and simply

From the best way to capture a castle to the secrets of photographing much smaller historical treasures, we aim to make sure you enjoy the course and improve your skills permanently.

A word about equipment

While expensive digital or film SLR (Single Lens Reflex) cameras do give you more flexibility there is absolutely no reason why you can't get fabulous pictures on a point-and-shoot compact camera – film or digital. If you have any concerns about whether your camera will be suitable please contact us.

The cost of this midweek break is from £135, inclusive of accommodation.
